It is now evident that if you are a socialist or if you are affected by austerity and then come to a decision to fight back against the capitalist money making machine, you have a very good chance of getting arrested and locked up. The recent arrests seen in Tallaght are a clear indication that if you protest and stand up against the blue-shirts or so called ‘Labour’ party, then you could face arrest and questioning. The very act of protesting is one of the fundamental rudiments of a democracy but the so-called governing body of our ‘state’ seems intent on taking our civil liberties away from us, why?, because we are winning.
